The Szklarka Waterfall - a not large yet picturesque waterfall located about 1.5 km from the town. The water flows over a 13.3 m high cascade which narrows towards the lower part of the waterfall and turns water stream into a spiral. Situated by the waterfall there is the ‘Kochanówka’ mountain hostel.

The Kamieńczyk Waterfall - the highest waterfall in the Sudetes. The stream of falling water is 27 m high and divided into four cascades. Behind the middle cascade of the waterfall you can find the so-called ‘The Golden Cave’ which was partly opened out by the Walończyk family. By the waterfall are the ‘Kamieńczyk’ mountain hostel and the ‘Sielanka Shelter’.

The Snow Cirques - two huge glacial cirques separated by a narrow rock ridge and pressed into the northern slopes of the main ridge of the Karkonosze, between Mt. Łabski Szczyt and Mt. Wielki Szyszak. The height of the vertical rocky faces rises to about 200 m. There are two small Snow Ponds in the Great Cirque.

Mt. Szrenica - the highest mountain in this part of the Karkonosze. You can reach the top by chairlift. A picturesque view stretches over and beyond the mountain.

The Izerskie Mountains - the westernmost mountain range of the Sudetes. There is a network of tourist routes here, including the Main Route of the Sudetes (red). The routes leading to the tops of the Izerskie Mountains are outstanding with their magnificent viewpoints. One of the best viewpoints is the High Stone.

The Raven Rocks - a rocky group on the right bank of the Kamienna River. These are two huge granite donjons of up to 30m high and which form great viewpoints. There is a centre of extreme sports, where you can go in for climbing etc.

The Death Bend - the viewpoint on the Sudetes Route between Szklarska Poręba and Świeradów Zdrój. A sharp and dangerous bend where the road almost goes round in a semicircle at a height of 775 m above sea level.
This bend received its name as a result of the numerous car accidents here.

Karpacz - a town situated less than 30 km from Szklarska Poręba and in itself a famous mountain resort. It is also an attractive centre for winter sports near the highest top of the Karkonosze - Śnieżka (1602 m).
Worth visiting here: the Wang Lutheran wooden church and the Toys Museum.
