 Snow Modelling - the Polish snow modelling championships happen every year in the second half of February. 12 teams appointed by the organizer take part in the competition. Each team sculpts one block of snow of dimensions 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 m. The Race of Ancestors - the biggest mass event in Poland, including a ski race. It is held every year on the first weekend of March. |
The Ski Slalom of Stars - the first half of March sees this ski competition being held, in which stars of TV, music, sport, and culture participate. A unique chance to see your idols on the slopes. The IFSS Junior Sled Dog Racing Championships - the Polish Sled Dog Racing Association organizes this stage of the World Championships in the second half of March. Races take place on different routes, with entrants competing in individual classes and specialties. The Izerski Picnic - on the first weekend of May is this event directed at fans of ski racing. The routes lead to the surroundings of the ‘Orle’ mountain hostel. The MTB Uphill Sprint - this 500 m bicycle uphill sprint is only for the toughest of competitors. Always held in the middle of July. The Weekend of Thrills - this huge summer event is arranged every year in the second half of July in Szklarska Poręba. The numerous contests include the Karkonosze Bungee Jumping Championships, bicycle shows, martial arts, the Fire Walk, concerts, and the Fire Show. The event is perfect for both children and their parents. The Nationwide Tourist Exchange of Students’ Songs - this is one of the oldest events arranged in the town. Fans and performers of bard poetry always meet in the Base under the Gloomy Monkey on the first weekend of August. |

 The Motorcycle Rally - during the first half of August is this rally for enthusiasts of motorcycles from throughout Europe in Szklarska Poręba. The show also includes a parade through the town of up to several hundred of these machines. The Bike Action - a bicycle festival organized in the second half of August. The event includes the Rally, the Dirt, the Marathon, jumps into water with bicycles as well as film shows referring to bicycles. |
The Autumn Bicycle Rally with the Stars - an event for amateur cyclists. Four routes which lead to a clearing in Jakuszyce. Four groups of participants are guided by stars of radio and TV. Each year on the last weekend of September. |
