The Polish Car Rally - June sees a round of the Polish and European Car Championships being held here. This rally is the second oldest rally event in the world after the Monte Carlo Rally and is one of the most important sport ventures organized in north–eastern Poland. Competitors taking part in the race compete over a 700 kilometre long route.

The Days of Mikołajki - held at the end of June and the beginning of July. Several days of partying during which regional bands and folk groups from partner towns of Mikołajki present their music. There is also performance of bands well-known from the charts. Articles manufactured by local artists are shown as well.

The Polish Sailing Championships of Actors - at the end of June and the beginning of July the cream of Polish actors arrive in Mikołajki to struggle with the wind and water. The regatta consists of several stages.

The Street Race - July. Both grown-ups and children can take part in this event. The route runs along the streets of the town. Every participant of the race may count on prizes.

The Festival of Shanties - August. Stages located in different places of the town resound with the sound of music. For all concerts admission is free of charge. The event attracts several thousand yachtsmen and fans of shanties to Mikołajki from all over the country.

The Open Polish Sailing Championships of Journalists - every year in August the regatta draws well-known journalists from TV, radio and newspapers to Mikołajki to compete in this competition.
