Trains - the railway station in Zakopane is situated in the city centre at ul. Chramcówki 35. From the station you can get to some major Polish cities and numerous towns and villages in the region.
All routes are managed by PKP.

Buses - the bus station is located nearby the railway station. All routes are operated by PKS, as well as minor carriers like Szwagropol, Trans-Frej, and numerous private minibus owners providing transport to nearby towns and villages. Many of the latter also stop in other locations in Zakopane, e.g. in ul. Kościeliska, al. 3-go Maja or ul. Czecha.
